“My husband bought the afternoon tea & summer berry cake for my 40th birthday. As a coeliac veggie I’m used to making do with whatever unappetising option is available. This couldn’t have been further from that, every part tasted incredible, it was such a treat. You can tell how much thought and effort had gone into it. The brownies were awesome, so were the cakes and I would love it if you could buy a pot of vegan clotted cream! The thing I can't find on a dairy-free diet. A real treat to have scones too.

“The vegan afternoon tea was very disappointing. The scones crumbled, they were almost impossible to eat as wouldn’t stay together, definitely couldn’t spread the cream or jam on them. The brownies were entirely stuck to the packet and also not very easy to eat. Won’t be buying again.”
“In the past we have loved the afternoon teas we have received. We ordered a vegan afternoon tea for us to enjoy on New Year’s Day but unfortunately on this occasion we were disappointed. The scones crumbled and fell apart, the brownies were sunken in and flat stuck to the casing and we were really gutted we didn’t receive the signature cutter and Squidge Jam that we love so much! (We did receive a lovely jam instead) - the lemon cake was delicious! This was the first time we ordered a vegan one. In the past we have been gifted a traditional one which was delicious and couldn’t fault in any way.”
