“Beautiful cake. Nice and moist sponge and it freezes very well cut into slices. My only slight complaint was there was too much buttercream icing which made it a bit too rich.”
“The cake was gorgeous but not really moist enough and tasted really bland, had to spice it up with lime juice and raspberry sorbet for it to taste a bit better. Would’ve been so much better if the cover was made of marzipan rather than buttercream as after a while the buttercream started making me feel sick. First and last time I’m trying buttercream cakes for sure as I felt it wasn’t worth the £50 unless you’re buying it for decorative purposes as it was indeed super pretty”
