“Cake was dense and moist, almost like a pound cake and very fresh. Buttercream and strawberry filling were top quality, the strawberry jam had a fresh taste. Top icing was different, almost like a hard sauce, and the little crunchy extras on the top gave a great texture and flavour. It's simply the best Victoria sponge I have ever had. It was a hit with my husband whose favourite cake this is. So good I ordered it for a friend's Jubilee celebration a couple of weeks later. I'm looking for an excuse to order a third.”
