“Dimmer switch was super easy to install. Would have rated it higher, but the dimming only goes down to maybe 15% and I expected it to go dimmer than it does. Also, whether it’s on the dimmest setting or the brightest when i turn the switch on, there is almost a’flash’ or ‘flicker’ each time I turn it on. It makes it seems a bit ‘rickety’ or cheap like it’s not installed properly or the right switch for the job. Might be related to it being LED lighting (vs incandescent), but that’s the only thing I can figure.”
“We replaced a double switch to one which had two switches and a dimmer. Works perfect, and let's you control the amount of light for out kitchen pendant lights. Becayse of it's design, it is very easy to change.”
“The 3 stars are essentially given for the customer service department who actually deserve 5 stars. However their products while innovative, are not consistently dependable. I recently needed to replace two dimmers under warranty, and now my third is beginning to act up and will need to be replaced as well. I’m hoping Deako has recognized this defect and re-engineered a suitable replacement. Time will tell.”
