“We had Deako switches installed in our new home 2 1/2 years ago. One of them (kitchen) wouldn’t turn the light on unless the switch was hit harder than should have been necessary. It got progressively worse and then the light started flicker a few weeks ago. We had thought it was the actual wiring all this time, but my husband swapped the kitchen switch with one from another room and it was suddenly fine…but the light it the other room flickered. We realized the switch just came with a faulty contact/connection and bought a new one. Wish they cost less for all that aggravation.”
