“Nice farmhouse look to it. Heavy wood and solid metal pieces. Nothing lightweight about this item. The only drawback is the wingnuts you have to remove in order to replace the roll of paper towels. Other than that this would be a great addition to any country kitchen.”

“I got this product yesterday. I was worried after reading some of the reviews, I must say I did not experience the loading issue. Is it harder than putting paper towel on a spike holder yes it is but the look and the shelf are to die for. It is a compliment to your kitchen decor. A must have.

“It looks great and is very substantial. that being said, I hate how difficult it is to load a new roll on. It's so bad that I find myself having a 2nd roll of paper towel on the counter and using that so I don't run out so soon and have to replace on the holder. I've tried to think of ways to make it easier but can't come up with a thing. It would be 5 stars if there was an easy (or easier) way to replace the roll.”
