“I bought these to hang without hardwiring but to use a remote bulb just as ambient lighting for our master bedroom. It was very easy to tuck the wiring in the square that houses the hanger for the fixture. I had a puck light and attached it (they are magnetic) to the railing between where the light sockets are. That gave me lighting through the shade, above and below the shade like a regular bulb. I am absolutely in love with these lights. Too bad we can't post pics because they are divine.”
