“love the ampak 10 but my light has the a older charging port so the usbc cable does not work and i also checked your website for options however their is none, i contacted customer support and i was to receive a call back but never heard back. but this does not reflect my dissatisfaction to your product but customer service needs a little work.”
“Honestly, the base light ranger 1200 I have needed the battery size to be bigger than its current size. Not by much…This AMPak on sale brought the on-camp night usage to be just right.
I’ve brought the light ranger with the solar panel that sits on top multi-day camping and it was awesome - it would get enough charge during the day to keep us adults playing cards and what not….it just didn’t last as long as one would think. The 1200 is manual adjustment only so I would explicitly have it light only half of the LEDs to make it last longer. The full LED usage would be only ~3.5 hours. It didn’t need that much more, but 3.5 hours was just a bit too short. With LEDs, when it goes below a certain voltage, it just shuts off without warning.
Since the AMPak stacks on the Devos l, and the solar panel still stacks on top, I now have a much more effective (for my use case) system that I can keep 1200 lumens of light illuminate our campsite during the evenings…without a surprise shut off.”

“On trip to Ozarks then to the Rockies, we took to Lightranger 2000s, with power packs and solar panels. We had an abundance of light tailored to the right brightness color and direction for our needs every night. The power packs assured we had power throughout the week - I never had to take the lamps and put them in the car to charge or anything. Coupled with the solar panels, felt like I had a really great sustainable weeklong light setup. Everything fit great in the storage bag together. Got rid of all my old lanterns. Would recommend to everyone.”
