“I am an owner of the original LightRanger head and experienced firsthand that it does take a good portion of a day to charge it from empty via micro-USB. This new head, empty when received, charged fully via USB-C in approx 4 hours. I was a little worried when I didn't see a USB-A port on the bottom of the new unit, reading the instructions informed me that the USB-C port accommodates two-way flow of electrical power. Very happy with the upgrade, the original head now becomes a backup unit.”
