“I have used it in two ways. First, I live in the woods and when I let my dog out at night, it puts a light out away from the house so I can see further out. I may look into a longer cord so that it picks up the dog closer to the ground. It picks up my motion as I walk out. One downside to this is it can pick up leaves blowing by etc, reducing battery life but knowing this, I recharge it as needed. I also keep one in the dark spot in my garage workshop. If I just need to run in for something, I don't have to turn on a full set of lights. It picks up the motion and keeps the light on for an amount of time I control.”
