“So, at first I was pretty nervous, as my initial experience was off to a bit of a rough start. First, there were no color match samples available that were even remotely similar to my hair color, so I had to “order blind.” Overall, I was very satisfied with the color and how it matched with my natural hair. Not perfect, but not bad. Second, when the hair arrived I was really nervous about how “thin” it looked (I ordered 2 packs) and I even saw some split ends, so I was worried about the quality. A bit about my situation: I have trichotillomania, so I pull on my hair. About 12 years ago, I cut my hair short, into an A-line bob. Unfortunately, it made my hair pulling much worse. Since then I have been cutting my own hair, a little out of embarrassment, but mostly just because I have to cut it a certain way to make it look like I have more hair than I have and to cover the really bad short/balding spots. I heard about tape in extensions and thought I could try to do them myself. Fast forward back to the extensions. I planned to use them to help add hair to the sides of my head (I look like I am trying to grow out undercut shaved sides). I only needed about 6 inches of length to match my current hair. Once I got the extensions in and cut them, all of my concerns were gone!!! They are incredible! I feel so confident! I get so many compliments! I initially put 3 “sandwiches” on each side. The next day, I added a 4th “sandwich to one side. The day after that I decided to make one of the sandwiches a “single” piece using the single sided tape. I wore them for a week and then decided to try them all as single pieces rather than “sandwiches.” That ended up being a little too thin, but I am loving the ease of use and that I can work with them and make them perfect so easily!! The removal is so simple, the installation is so simple. I love it! I feel like I have healthy hair again. It is fantastic. Thank you Donna Bella, you have really helped me!!!”
