Not compatible with my grinder, despite explicitly stating that it is compatible. Wasted hours of my time with “customer service” who have no idea what they’re talking about. When they eventually realised that the guard is incompatible and accepted the return, they did not process the refund for several weeks, until I called them again. At that point the card I paid with had been cancelled and they refused to refund to a different card. So all up, it cost me £120 and hours of my time for absolutely nothing. Product is cheaply made plastic anyway; can’t see it lasting long on site.

Key thing with these shrouds is good blade visibility, comes with a selection of rings for connecting to different manufacturers grinders. Likewise various adaptors for hose connections and blade change access is easy too.

Some instructions on how to attach it to the grinder would have been useful

This is a great purchase. It does not stop 100% of the dust but does capture most of it (I would say 80-90%). I am an electrician and have been using this for loads of internal chasing. The house is empty so wasn't too worried about dust but I now feel confident to use in a populated house My only gripe is that the 2 screws to hold the mounting pieces to the grinder were too short so I had to get some other ones

Does a good job but the shroud cost more than the grinder. Shame the screws go into plastic. For the price I would expect nuts and bolts. Realistic price should be around £50
