“Very effective in reducing mortar dust during repointing and doesn’t obscure the blade like some alternatives on the market. Would recommend this product.”
“I purchased this product for the workman who is repointing my house with the intention of it reducing the dust, which it did. However he said it was a very loose fit to his Makita. It is quoted as being the correct size, but they are different and as your product claims to fit Makita and not the other way around, there may be a slight issue with your product. Makita owners should not be discouraged from buying as it’s very difficult to find any products that fit, this one does, just not perfectly.”
“I ordered the part on 27th of May and still haven’t got it yet. When I emailed them they said it was delivered but no body home. But I had not notification about the delivery.

“Its expensive and not strong enough, all componets are plastic. The securing collars that fit around the grinder and secures the dust shroud to the grinder is a very soft plastic and not fit for purpose. All in all its not good enough for everyday or even occasional use.
When designing and manufacturing tools you need to understand and design in ease of use, longevity and strength...this product has none of these except that is does extract reasonably well considering the amount of dust a mortar rake produces. So in short, make the collars from a milled steel or casting, it would massivley improve the product.”
