“We use angle grinders every day to install helibars etc. This makes the process much easier as the kit is significantly lighter than using the Hilti wall chaser (and a fraction of the cost). Being able to ‘see’ the blade makes for accurate cutting which is also a great benefit.”
“Fitted to a Dewalt 115mm dwe6206 . Had initial problem fitting the base. The spring needs to be removed by leavening out the spring end. Easy when you know how. Rest of installation is ok. The hood flange is very close to the blade but seems to work ok. I hooked up to a numeric 390.
Once up and running it’s a vast improvement on dust creation and allows the grinder to be used in many more areas.
Pros , good visibility with the hood and far less dust/debris. I recon 90% dust extraction which may be improved with practice.
Cons - cost more the grinder but worth it.”
“Fitting the shroud was simple. I must say however, that it does not remove as much of the dust as shown in your video’s. I am really disappointed if I’m honest, your video made it look as though pretty much all of the dust would be collected, it would go so far to say 50% is realistic.”
