Our two excellent guides took great care of our group. We found all of the endemics and enjoyed memorable adventures along the way, including a boat tour to the tip of Bruny Island and night time spotlighting. We also enjoyed great food everywhere, and were happy with the accommodations. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending this tour to fellow birders.

Don't miss Tasmania! The trees at Mt. Field and the cliffs at Bruny Island are astounding. And where else can you see both white wallabies and white starlings at the same time? Or watch penguins come to shore amidst a swarm of shearwaters? These few days had parrots and pardalotes, pademelons and potoroos. It certainly was worth the price.

This tour was a perfect way to end a very long November of travel. I would have loved to accompany the tour throughout their travels from Darwin but I had other plans, including a family wedding in Melbourne, so joining in Tasmania for the final leg of the journey fit in perfectly. We were blessed with lovely weather, even though the predictions were for colder conditions. I was overdressed on Bruny Island, anticipating cold. The Tasmanian tour was a great introduction to Australian birds, leaving me with a desire to visit again. We also saw a few interesting species of mammals, including an albino Wallaby or two and those cute little Pademelons. I'd go back.

Superb tour - I had little knowledge about Tasmania before this trip and fell in love with the place. Especially enjoyed our stay on Bruney Island. Great birding and scenery.

If you don't visit Tasmania while you are in Australia, you are missing their greenest State. Its forests, waterfalls, coastlines and parks are well worth the trip. Tasmania is the only home of the cutest little parrot, protected by dedicated volunteers. I "bathed" in the greenery, the ocean breezes and the new species of flora and fauna. I recommend this trip to those who want peace and adventure together.
