Feb 5 - 13, 2026 | February is a fine time to be in south Texas. Join us on our South Texas birding tour as we look for Whooping Cranes, and southern Texas specialties, found nowhere else in the US. We will visit excellent reserves and birding areas. This tour offers wonderful and often easy birding!

“Very hard working tour guides. We were worked hard ourselves to get the maximum species count. Accomodation was generally good. I found the restaurants for the evening meals could have been improved.The pizza dinner in Patagonia was truly awful and I did not enjoy the Oyster restaurant in Corpus Christi. Most of the restaurants were a bit on the expensive side for my budget. On the whole the two tours I took back to back, were a lot of fun and I enjoyed the company of the other tour participants and i was impressed with the knowledge of the guides.”

“AMAZING trip. Eagle Eye communicated very well. The guides were absolutely the best. Not only did we record 195 species in 8 days including most all the target species, I also have never had so much FUN on a trip like this.”

“The leaders were both equally wonderful: so knowledgable, friendly, patient, helpful. The chosen locations provided the promised species. Lodging and food were very good.”
