Jul 25 - Aug 4, 2026 | Join our Southeast Arizona birding tour, where we will be targeting the borderland specialties like Elegant Trogon, Spotted Owl, Rose-throated Becard, Mexican Chickadee, Thick-billed Kingbird and many more! This tour is timed for the start of the monsoon season, known also as the second spring; the desert blossoms at this time, and it is the best season to find many of the hummingbirds and other specialties for which the region is famous.

I can't rave enough about this trip. Adam and Skye were outstanding trip leaders, and worked so well together to provide a memorable experience. We visited so many different habitats, and I was able to add so many species to my life list. There was great camaradarie among the trip participants, and I was very sad to say goodbye. :( Because of airline disruptions, I was a whole day late in getting there. Adam and Skye went out of their way - literally - to pick me up when I finally arrived in Tucson. That was service!!

This is an excellent tour of the summer birds of Southeastern Arizona. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The scenery, flora, and fauna were breathtaking. The pace was just right, the difficulty was in the moderate range in most cases. If you would like to see a wide variety of birds and habitats in this area of the U. S., this is the tour to take,
