“My darling dog's oral health is extremely important for me because I love her and want her to not be in pain as she ages (to say nothing of avoiding exorbitant vet bill). For years, I've given her the Kirkland dental chews from Costco - they're undeniably a great deal and you get more than twice the 'bones' than with Earthly (although they're admittedly smaller). But it's very much one of those "you get what you pay for" things...have you compared the ingredient list?!? I didn't want to fill my dog with a bunch of multisyllabic chemicals sourced from China day after day, year after year. As with human food, it costs more to avoid the shortcuts that lead to health problems and heartbreak later on, and my pup is entirely vulnerable. She relies on me to make the right decisions and, if necessary, sacrifices to keep her healthy and happy for as long as I can.
The other major plus about Earthly is that the bones are actually HARD! The Costco ones are firm, but slightly bendy and my dog would eat them like they were a treat. That's not what I want - I want something hard enough to actually clean her teeth. I've seen some comments on Earthyl's Facebook ads from people complaining about the bones being hard. Please don't listen to folks who don't know what they're talking about, Earthly! In my book, they could even be a little harder still.
All in all, a great, natural alternative to the mass-market competition!”
