HD SIG 1911 External Extractor Blue Reviews

4.9 Rating 14 Reviews
Read EGW Guns Reviews

Due to popular demand, we were commissioned to manufacture a Sig Heavy Duty Extractor. The quality of steel used to produce Sig's original extractor is made with a low grade steel. If the owner of a Sig GSR fires an extensive amount of rounds, it is likely that the extractor will break. We machined our HD Extractor from tool steel for superior strength and durability. The pin and spring for this extractor are sold separately as a set to go with our extractor. It is recommended to change the pin and spring when changing the extractor. This extractor will work for ALL 1911 SIG models. We are unable to ship this part internationally.

Went in easy and hasn’t failed yet. I’ve only put a couple hundred rounds through it so far but it works great!

EGW got the extractor, pin, and spring to me in record time. My Sig Scorpion 10mm had been extracting empties unreliably and the replacement parts took care of the problem instantly. Thank you for the quick delivery of the high quality parts!

I base this on how the extractor looked and fit in the extractor slot of my Sig Ultra slide. The extractor has not yet been installed due to issues with the pin (see my review and comments about the pin).
