Rail Type: One Piece PicatinnyMachined from: Domestic 6061 T6 Extruded AluminumFinish: Matte Black AnodizingCenter Spread: 4.321"Overall Length: 7.458"Height: .4" (Top of Receiver to Top of Picatinny)Weight: 2 oz.Quick Disconnect Ring Compatible: NoAmbidextrous: YesTorque Specs: 20 in/lbsMounting Hardware: #6-48 X 1/4 Screws (Blue Bag)                                  #8-40 x 1/4 Screws (Red Bag)                                    T-10 Bit Included   This mount is ambidextrous. We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately). We recommend:0 MOA - if shooting 0-500 yards20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yardsWhen zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, we recommend zeroing at 200 yards. The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA. This was my first order with EGW but my second 20moa base fire a Savage Axis. I received it within a couple of days which is a plus (fast shipping always is). The only issue I encountered was while trying to mount it on the action I found the larger 8-40 screws would not seat into the holes. I initially sent EGW an email asking if it was simply a QC miss but then later decided to just drill the holes larger myself. I got a reply from EGW yesterday (11/29/21) letting me know they had been drilling them to accept both sets of screws for the Axis and that mine most likely just got missed and also sent me a return label. I let them know that I had corrected the issue and that a return wasn't needed. I don't know if it was done prior to my reply or in spite of it but I later got an email saying that my EGW order was on the way. It seems that EGW is sending me a replacement base anyway. From the died of reply (considering it was a 4 day holiday weekend) to sending a replacement part I really didn't need... If I could give 10 stars I would. Looks like they'll have to settle for 5 and I'll have to get another Axis
