The golden gate park tour was awesome. I've lived near the park and thought I knew it well, but seeing it on a segway opened up new perspectives on many areas. The tour guide, Devin, was extremely knowledgable, providing great information, sensitive to the complexity of some of the issues about the park and its sites, as well as answering a wide variety of questions. Some of the jokes were questionable.

It was great; on my door at work. My only concern is that the hills tour is at 3 pm in the winter--it gets cold and dark and traffic is much worse then; it should be earlier in the day, if possible. It also felt like the tour ended a bit early, with more time just racing around on the wharf than needed [which is a a lot of fun, but doesn't need a lot of time.] , but maybe that's just because it was cold. the many cul-de-sac lookouts were great; as someone who has lived in the Telegraph Hill area, and walked it frequently, there were many spots I had never found. The leader, whose name I cannot now recall, was great; a young man who now lives in the EAst Bay, and was part of the segway group in the Giants parade, from Florida maybe?

Eli was the best tour guide I've had, and this was my fifth tour in as many major cities. The advanced tour exceeded expectations!

It was really fun, and Dane was terrific. Just enough cornball to be fun, but not grating or annoying. The actual tour was a real kick!
