And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“After much thought we did the advanced Hills tour with you. I can honestly say it is one of the funnest activities we have done as a family. It was wonderful. The segways were in great shape, the tour was fantastic. Going up and down the hills was exciting and thrilling. Mark, our tour guide was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and aware of his group. We enjoyed his style very much. We ended up having so much fun, we did the same tour the very next day! Our kids 15 years old and 13 years old had the time of their life. Thank you!”

“Mark was a great tour guide. He was very informative and helpful along the way. He mentioned everything from bumps to potholes for our sfety as well as being a great tour guide of the sights and history of San Fransico. We couldn't have asked for more! We loved the hills and the contents of the tour. It was our favorite thing we did in San Fransisco. We look forward to returning and doing the Segway trip again next time.”

“This was the most awesome tour ever of the San Fran hills and a great way to see things you would never see on your own. I strongly recommend this tour to everyone who has a sense of adventure and loves hills!!! We already recommended the tour to friends of ours, and they did the tour a few days after us and their comments were the same. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! “While in San Francisco, on a 17 day - Seattle through the Panama Canal and on to Ft. Lauderdale - cruise, instead of taking one of the Cruise Line's shore excursions, my wife and I decided to sign up for the advanced Segway tour. Having just taken our first segway tour a month or so earlier on the island of Grand Turk, and really enjoying it, we wanted to try these unique vehicles again. As it turned out, the tour and experience with the San Francisco Electric Tour Company was actually the best "side trip" of the entire 17 day cruise. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared his information exceptionally well with both humor and wit. The tour, through the streets of San Francisco, including going down the famous Lombard Street TWICE .... was simply awesome. Without a doubt, both my wife and I would highly recommend this tour to everyone with a sense of adventure and as one of our tour mates stated .. if you can ride a Segway in San Francisco, you can ride one anywhere. However, "anywhere else" could not possible be as much fun.”
