“Ello is a great supplemental app to help kiddos switch up their reading. I was finding that my kiddos were getting tired of reading to just me and my husband after school. I was on the hunt for something to reignite their love of reading and Ello was the answer! New books are seamlessly delivered to our door each month. Our kiddos love to check our packages now! I love the cute prizes that Ello offers to readers and that they are based on earning a certain number of points and not just for participation. I have two readers in the same grade with varying reading levels, Ello Customer Support has been very helpful in trying to figure out the best way for our kiddos to receive books that don't replicate and with any issues that have arrived with dual profiles.”

“My kiddo loves Ello. He gets so excited when he gets his box, asks to read with Ello often, and he really works for those prizes. He's quite behind in reading and I think reading to a cartoon who has 0 judgement is reassuring to him. In our reading lesson today he said "those are Ello words" so I know it is sinking in. Thanks for such a great program, you guys are onto something here.”

“Jackson is by far my latest reader, held back by a perfectionism that left him frustrated and discouraged every time he struggled with a word. Although we've had a child with learning challenges before, my gut told me that we just needed to wait for him to be ready. And then this summer I stumbled across @readwithello, and everything changed. He became excited about reading and comfortable with not knowing what a word said and asking for help. And he's quickly catching up to grade level, learning 50 or so new sight words a week in addition to additional phonograms. (We're firmly in the "why is English so complicated stage of reading," lol.) But one of the best parts has been watching him get excited about writing as well!”
