“Came across a post on fb and was skeptical at first but went ahead and started it for my son to help encouragement reading. We just received our box today and he already read all 5 books. What’s great is not only do they have stickers for encouragement but also if they get so much points from reading the books they can choose a rewards that will be in the next months box. My son loves it and I love the fact he is so involved and wanting to read.”

“My son has a difficult time remembering words and reading fluently. Today his Ello arrived and we started using it he completed one book today and he’s so excited to read his next book! Parents this App also helps the child to become independent on reading.. ps it also gives you a little free time because they listen to what the kid is saying and helps them instead of you having too.”

“I am so grateful I chose Ello to be my son’s reading body. I have tried several other options and for once I see him excited to read and keep reading more then one book. I had many conference with his teacher and all I heard was that he was behind. I am very hopeful that he is going to get up to speed now. Thank you Ello”

“I really like this my son enjoys it as well but I think on the app if the app can be more involved and maybe keep asking if the child needs help and giving the support that they are reading very well my son enjoys getting stars but sometimes the app freezes and thats a little frustrating when we are in the middle of words that he may need help with but all and all very great for helping little ones learn to break down words maybe also going threw words on app that are a little harder that would also help as well but again very great things with this app”

Thank you for your comment, Gabrielle! We appreciate the positive feedback. If you need help troubleshooting the freezing, please email support@helloello.com. One thing to check is to make sure that the device you are using has adequate storage space. If the device has full memory, it can impact the performance of the app. Also, Ello is always available to help at any time via the question mark and will encourage kids at the end of every page with stars and verbal encouragement. We try not to interrupt the child while reading (only correcting and commenting at the end of the page), but Ello can help at any time if the child is stuck via the question mark! I hope this helps :)
