“This review is about this vendor (fantastic), not the part (OEM), because they have no control over the part. This little spring pawl is essential to the correct operation of the doser on my Rancilio grinder. The rest of the grinder is bulletproof, but the spring does seem to wear out eventually (this is either my second or third replacement). It's easy enough to replace, but you'll not find anything like it in your local ace hardware. So to be able to find and order one of these for a reasonable price, receive it within a reasonable time, and then get the doser back to dosing, all without having to pack up and send out the grinder to some repair facility with a 6-12 week turnaround, is over the moon. This time I even got smart and ordered myself some backstock. If and when this breaks again, the fix is only an evening or weekend fixit session away.”
