I ordered from Canada and was happy to pay $15.00 shipping on a &2.00 part. Really. Part of being a Canadian I guess. Part arrived same week and I installed it. Back in business & very pleased.

This review is about this vendor (fantastic), not the part (OEM), because they have no control over the part. This little spring pawl is essential to the correct operation of the doser on my Rancilio grinder. The rest of the grinder is bulletproof, but the spring does seem to wear out eventually (this is either my second or third replacement). It's easy enough to replace, but you'll not find anything like it in your local ace hardware. So to be able to find and order one of these for a reasonable price, receive it within a reasonable time, and then get the doser back to dosing, all without having to pack up and send out the grinder to some repair facility with a 6-12 week turnaround, is over the moon. This time I even got smart and ordered myself some backstock. If and when this breaks again, the fix is only an evening or weekend fixit session away.

Espresso Parts is simply the best. There are other shops that offer espresso machine parts but no one has the knowledge, the helpful service, the machinery schematics and the individual parts like this company. I bought this tiny spring from them that was necessary for my Rancilio Rocky doser to work properly. They shipped the item--free!--and charged me a pittance for the spring. Other companies would have forced me to purchase an entire doser assembly. As it was, I got the spring, installed it easily, and my Rocky is back working like before. I love this outfit.

Since I own a machine shop, I'm a fairly handy guy, and I have to admit that when my wife's Rancilio doser quit "dosing", it wasn't hard to disassemble the machine and find the problem. Assuming that the spring (now busted into two pieces) would be unobtainable or unreasonably expensive, I went out to the shop and fabricated a temporary replacement part out of a chunk of old bandsaw blade. It got the doser going so that she could get her morning "fix" of espresso, which makes her happier, so it was worth the hour that I spent on annealing, shaping, hardening, and tempering my temporary fix. Only after the "emergency" repair was complete did I start looking on-line for a permanent replacement part. I couldn't believe what I found: a perfect replacement part, shipped via U.S. Postal Service, at a great price, and no excessive "handling" charges! When the spring arrived from EspressoParts.com, I replaced my "temporary" fix with the "perfect" part and taped the one that I made to the back of the doser, just in case there's a "next time". When's the last time YOU got a replacement part for anything mailed to you for less than five bucks total? I Love EspressoParts.com!

I love Rancilio. Espresso parts provide the full schematics for a DIYer like me. I saw the exact part needed and bought it instantly. It takes a while to disassemble the Rocky at home but I enjoy it and take is as my zazen session. The piece fits perfectly and my Rocky is back to full functionality.

When pulling the lever on my Rancilio Rocky doser no longer let coffee out of my grinder, I looked up possible problems on the Internet, saw a description of what happens when the stop spring breaks, and thought it sounded like my problem. I opened my Rocky, saw that the spring in mine was in fact broken, and then looked up the replacement part. Espresso Parts had exactly what I needed at the best price, and the shipping was amazingly fast. I installed the replacement spring and my Rocky is working great once again.
