“The spanner warning light came on (coincidentally?????)?at the same time that the car needed servicing.
Ford wanted a stupid amount of cash to check and even more to remove the spanner if all was ok
Cue the code reader - no faults
Get the car serviced
All is good

“Pleased I bought this. I'd assumed a fault with the fuel as my partner had run the petrol right down to nothing but decided to buy this just to check. It showed a fault code to cylinder 2 and so I replaced all the spark plugs. Now runs fine and I was able to delete the engine warning light using the code reader once I'd changed the plugs. Well worth the money even if I never use it again.”
