“Took a lot of work even with a corded drill to follow the contours of the lens but the result it a massive improvement. Obviously I can’t say how long the result will last but so far so good.”
“The headlights on our 54 plate Astra were looking rather the worst for wear and resulted in an observation at the last MOT.
I researched several Headlight Restorer Kits and decided that the Holts kit (which was the only one that required a drill to polish up the lights) would be the safest bet, and at £15 from Eurocarparts seemed a good deal.
How right I was!
Spent about an hour and a half ( including breaks while my drill battery was recharged) and the headlights now look like new. Just wish I had taken a before and after photo.
