King Song 18XL 1554Wh Battery/2200W Motor Reviews

I just purchased this wheel for Christmas 2023. This wheel is for my father who is 72yrs old, and still a kid at heart. My dad has been on my 16s for the past 6k miles and wanted more range, and a little more speed to cruise at 25 vs being on the beeper all the time. The 18xl is perfect for him. Plenty of range amd speed and still retaining the simplicity of what I consider the 2nd generation of wheels to hit the masses (after the V8/14d/16s class of wheels.) It's a very familiar ride to those smaller heros of early wheeling. It's thin, with flat large pedals and very smooth for cruising. The trolly handle is still the best in the business too. Don't let youtube fool you into thinking everyone rides like banshee on fire, for the vast majority of riders the 18xl is still a perfect all around wheel.

I have this wheel and I have a 16s and 14s. And I don't like the 18 XL because it's so heavy and takes so much more effort to turn on it and to guide it. The 14 is my favorite and the 16s are fine also but like the 14 because I ride it to work and put it in a basket in my truck in front of the passenger seat everyday and it's a little bit smaller than the 16 and lighter

Absolutely fantastic wheel. Sure, it isn't suspension. And sure, it's an older model. And fine, the speaker is lame. None of those things matter, because the 18XL delivers as a wheel. It's reliable, resilient, and I feel safe leaving it at home when I'm traveling. Relatively easy to learn on. Trolley handle is solid. Not too heavy, good range. It's the PB&J of wheels. Might not be the newest or most popular sandwich, but it delivers every time.

I am a bigger guy, with gear I weigh roughly 270 and I got this wheel for my first wheel. I haven't had a chance to ride it that much, but I would say it took me 2 hours before I was comfortable riding it without stopping. With that being said I used to rollerblade and longboard, not sure if that makes a difference. I would recommend it for a first wheel for a bigger guy. I still haven't taken it up steep hills yet, but everything else it does a great job.

The best purchase decision of my life. Bought in 2019 before the pandemic and before EUCs really started to take off. No issues. I love the trolly and it is so easy to move around. Probably the best trolly period. The looks you get never get old and riding this thing is always fun. I'd ride 15 miles to school every day if there were enough bike paths.

Ordering from Ewheels was amazing! They respond quickly and the King Song 18XL I received from them was in perfect condition! I’ve put almost 500 miles on it in like 11 days and I’ve had no issues! I’ll be ordering more EUCs from Ewheels in no time! I would highly HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to get an EUC! Jason and the team at Ewheels are people you can trust!

GORGEOUS wheel! Although I am getting a much more powerful wheel I will NOT be selling this reliable fun beauty! Love the LEDs and the Bluetooth speaker plays music from YouTube!

I'm in my early 70's and was introduced to EUC's by a much younger friend. I was rather skeptical, but he convinced me that I should give it a try. Big mistake. I'm hooked. Started with a KingSong 16s purchased from ewheels and it turned out to be a great EUC to learn on. Ready to upgrade as I consistently max out the 30+ mile range on my 16s. The 18xl has been the perfect upgrade. Plenty fast enough for me, portable enough to carry up stairs and on public transit. It's turned out to be the Goldilocks choice: not too big, not too small. Just right!
