Did not buy here, but figured it'll get some good exposure. 178 lb rider, plus 5-10 lbs in a backpack. Used to traverse New York City. Real-world top speed with a full battery on flat road is 26.2 MPH GPS-verified, which shows at 29-30 MPH on the scooter LCD screen. I have gotten this up to 31 MPH on a steep downhill (don't try this at home), I ride extremely aggressively in Mode 3, and discovered I can get 19 miles out of it in varying road conditions, full on 25+ MPH blasts with the throttle depressed for minutes at a time. In Mode 2 at a more leisurely speed, I'm sure it can get 25-30 miles. Up some steep grades, the scooter doesn't quit, it will still push you up at 8-10 MPH depending on how sharp it is. At 50% battery, top speed performance does take a hit, goes around 21-22 MPH and close to the 15-20% range, it'll go no faster than 14-15 MPH before it finally cuts out and you have to call an Uber to get home. The suspension is more than adequate for city roads, although I'd strongly consider buying another LED light attachment as the two headlights on the unit are pretty useless for night illumination. The mechanical drum brake is the worst part of this scooter. It is downright AWFUL! However, this can be mitigated by turning the electric brake regen up to the max and carefully turning the wheel as you brake to stop quicker. You may think I have a lot of negatives to say about this scooter, but it is FAR from the truth! You simply can't match this blend of performance and range in its weight class, period. The popular scooters such as the Glion Dolly and Swagton Swagger simply don't have the power or range to make them useful for anything more than a last-mile solution, and the mini4 Pro can legitimately be used to cover long distances at good speeds while maintaining portability. For comparison, the Glion Dolly, which I've owned and returned pretty quickly, had a real world flat road speed of 13.8 MPH via GPS, quit on steep inclines, had NO suspension and got 8 miles with my riding style. While I do yearn for a Dualtron Ultra or something comparable to handle even longer distances, they're simply not portable enough to bring onto a bus, subway or even throw in a car trunk. The mini4 Pro is a transportation companion, not a replacement. For 99% of people in the market, this is more scooter than they'll ever need!

First of all, this scooter is awesome. High quality build. There are a lot of positives to say about it. That being said, here are the negatives, Here are a few things to consider towards improving: Seat: The seat is slightly wobbly. More so, the device that is twisted and pulled in order to being the seat down does not secure properly (maybe I'm doing something wrong) and it makes me nervous. Finally, the screws that secure the seat and the inner tubing of the seat rust very quickly when exposed to water. Screws: With little water exposure the screw rust. Brakes: I am not sure if something is loose (I'm no handyman expert) but the brake is very loose and then very firm once pressed down further. I'm not getting that nice consistent squeeze that I would expect throughout the entire range of motion. Charging port: Not sure if I was the one that loosed it inside by struggling to hard to put it in the first time but it seems to move a bit when trying to plug in my charger. I'm just worried that the inner piece may break and then it will be a massive headache to try to fix. Paint: The black paint on the piece that supports the handlebar and on the handlebars could be tougher--it scratches off very easily. I use a permanent paint marker to touch it up. Top speed: My biggest disappointment was the inability to reach the full 26mph as was advertised. I weigh 150 pounds and can only ever reach 21mph on a flat road. Thank you!

It’s my second time buying electric scooter. The first purchase wasn’t good. This scooter is really fast and powerful. Looks really nice and I bought a fast charger with it. Another great thing is the company customer service! They are really fast and responsive. Everything is taken care of. Worth the time waiting for the scooter. I will recommend anyone to purchase this scooter for anyone that need the power and speed. I am 185lbs and it goes up to 29 mph.

I looked at a great deal of scooters before selecting this one based on the overall build and quality. I live in NYC so the roads are all not that great but i noticed a couple things about the scooter that it has suspension which not a lot of scooters have. Another thing that i noticed is that it has lights. If you are riding in the dark or early morning its good to have lights so people will see you. This is of course my first scooter so there was a bit of a learning curve to get used to the functions and everything else. Not that its hard to ride i mean you just press a button and it goes but just getting the hang of going from one place and all of a sudden you are going like 10-12 mph. It is fast. I must say it is a bit heavy but i i don't carry it around everywhere so its not an issue and i don't think that people will be using this and try to carry it around or trying to bring this somewhere as it is heavy. My girlfriend took it out of my car after i rode it and she was having a hard time carrying it back to the house. I use one hand as you have seen on videos on other scooters but i can tell you now it is NOT the lightest scooter on the market. NOW with that said a couple things, its not the lightest but with it being heavy doesn't mean its just a brick, i feel the build quality feels sturdy especially on New York city bumps and potholes. I rode in the city, and all around and still have been on the same charge. It is as most people have reported energy efficient and that the battery is very good and as the description says. When i got my scooter it did take a while to get it shipped to my house because of the backorder but i think if you are looking for scooter i will give you a couple reasons to get this one versus the others on the market: 1) The scooter is built well and doesn't feel flimsy. When i read other reviews of other scooters they say the build quality is not great. Don't get me wrong the scooter feels bumps even with the suspension but its not a car and doesn't have like shocks like a car or a vehicle so you will feel bumps just probably not as substantial as other scooters. There is also an area where you can purchase to buy a seat so if you ever plan to take a longer ride you can attach the seat and make it an electric bike 2) Battery life - i rode this scooter around at least a couple times it has been running on the same charge. The battery from all the scooters that i was looking at didn't have the same battery life so i was afraid that it would run out mid trip. The general scooter i believe only lasted maybe 15-20 miles at most? i think this one goes to 44miles. My total commute from one borough to another is roughly around 13 miles one day but this is on a nice day i wouldn't ride in the freezing cold. 3) There are lights in the front and back. I think safety is a good feature for anything you ride so people can see you. I mean you can buy lights for the front but i guess you can stick lights in the back but its comes standard with the scooter. 4) It can stand up by itself with the kickstand. That is helpful if you need to rest or put it aside somewhere. 4) The frame again is sturdy if you wanted to lock it up on the street or somewhere. There are videos showing you how to use a U-lock to do that for a scooter. I chose this scooter because i needed a way to get around easier as i used to walk pretty far from different places and then needed to get to work. I used this once to park somewhere near where i needed to go and found parking as i know parking around there would be scarce and then took my scooter from there to my destination. It got me there through less traffic and about the same time also depends on how fast you go. I am 5'8 170 so it is a good size for me. The staff is very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. Like all people they see a random website and it looks sketchy but based on other people's reviews and others reviews of the same scooter on other websites i decided to buy from this one. I usually do research before i buy a lot of things and this was no exception. It is also not the cheapest scooter on the market but for the price compared to the higher end ones i would go with this one. I have not had issues with the battery charger yet because i don't carry it around yet but will when i guess i use it maybe everyday. I use it about 1-2 a week to run errands and have taken it around the city on long rides. Def a must buy if i you are looking for a commuter scooter and want something that lasts and best bang for your money. Notes to eWheels: The one thing i did ask ewheels about was whether there was a bag or some sort of way to carry the thing easier as sometimes i would like to wheel it or lug it through my building without everyone asking me about the scooter or something that is less inconspicuous. The only reason i ask is because i have seen 2 other scooters that have handles that you can pull like luggage and another where you can hold and then put a bag over it and its not as noticeable. Just something to think about when you are traveling around New York and don't want people to know you are carrying around an electric scooter. At the same thought i noticed there is no way to lock down the scooter if you say jumped into the store to get something and left your scooter outside or somewhere random. I wish the power button was like a key and wouldn't let you push it in until you insert the key. Once you insert the key you are good to go and it will power on i guess like a car or motorcycle. There is no lock down system or preventative security other than purchasing a bike lock type mechanism.

Nice scooter. Seems very built and goes like a bat out of hell, I recommend keeping it on the medium speed setting. I can ride it all around town multiple times without having to recharge it. That being said, the included charger is the only bad part of this scooter. The charger does not seem very well built and are crazy expensive to replace when it inevitably breaks (like mine just did). I am getting a replacement fast charger now, hopefully that is higher quality. I am not sure if the scooter's warranty covers the charger, but if someone from eWheels sees this and can help me that would be great.

Chris, we'll be crediting back the cost of the replacement charger for you. You might also want to consider the 5A fast-charger, which is fan driven, it's considerably more reliable & charges the Scooter at a rate of 3x that of the 'brick' charger. https://www.ewheels.com/product/new-speedway-mini4-5a-54-6v-charger/
