“This is a great wheel, the power is great, the smoothness of the ride is incredible, its almost the perfect wheel, but...
I had to remove a whole star because of the trolly handle.... This is a very well-built wheel, and very expensive... For the price, they seem to have forgotten about the trolly handle, it is made of cheap plastic, and sometimes the button sticks down, and it keeps popping up, as this is a brand new wheel, I foresee issues with this handle, so I will use it as little as possible, it feels like it could break at any time. Now that is not a deal breaker for me, but it is something I am sure is going to get a lot of guff about... So perhaps making a more solid design with that too...

1. Style - The look of the wheel is nice, like a tank... but with the pads and some after-market stuff, it looks good... 3.5 out of 5
2. Performance ... This thing is a beast, with incredible power, and even though it's a larger tire and is a bit heavy, you don't notice it, very smooth, I would teach someone on this thing, but I have to drop a star because at high speeds over 45, it has a little stability problem, a small wobble comes on, you can carve out of it, but it may be something they might want to look into ... giving it ... 4. out of 5
3. Value ... Well as you know it's pretty much the most expensive wheel on the market, but the question is.... Is it worth that price???? I am going to have to get back to you on that one.... I am going to do a full in-depth review of this wheel, but only after I have had it for at least a week and over 100 miles.
4. OVERALL - I am loving it now.... I will do a 6 month review for a change but for now - 4 out of 5

“The Lynx is a magical machine. Seeming infinite torque and the build quality is excellent -- as expected with Leaperkim wheels. I've put around 500 miles on it so far and it still impresses me every time I get on it.”
We totally agree, the Lynx is definitely the wheel to beat! All batches have been selling out, we're not sure if a new release will be able to topple the wheel of 2024. There are always going to be minor issues with each release, but LK is handling their machines with great poise. Always ride with gear, be safe out there!

Looks like your cat is enjoying the Lynx as well! Nice touch with the purple accents. We agree that the Lynx is a great machine and is currently the wheel of 2024. With a near perfect combination of suspension and power, we'll have to see if there's anything that can compete with this beast.
“I’ve ridden a unicycle for 50 years, and the Lynx is my first eWheel. I’m 6’4”, 275+ so I chose the 70lb suspension. After getting over the initial jitters and having ridden a solid 30+ miles, I can say this is absolutely amazing.
I describe the experience as snow skiing on a long blue slope. The glide is just so incredibly smooth and though I’m “carving” to turn and avoid any shimmering, it’s akin to just tucking and going straight to make it to the lifts without the struggle. I’ve increased my speed limit and alarm twice from 12 to 20 and now 30 mph. I doubt I’ll ever go beyond 35 as it’s no joke at speed, and I quickly realized it’s not a toy.
I am absolutely delighted and proud to say that I was able to ride it successfully as soon as I got the courage to lean over and “send it.”
I’ve not been able to ride seated comfortably yet. I’m too tall and the pedals are still original, but standing and riding is just money. I am very impressed with the design, quality and durability of the Lynx. I have over 30 miles and have yet to charge it again as I’m 75% battery remaining.
I had read every review ahead of the release and agree with everything that everyone said. I got the hybrid tire and think I made the right decision considering I’m 75/25 street vs. off-road.”
“The Lynx is the best riding expierence I've had on any wheel so far and I'm 5 generations in. It's a significant leap when compaired to prior wheel evolutions (larger wheels, higher speeds, suspension). Worth every penny. Great photo of the Lynx, and with custom painted powerpads as well! The Lynx continues to impress us. It's currently the best seller, and it's been fairly reliable for such a new release. There are going to be a few hiccups here and there, but LK is fully committed to supporting this machine.

As for the Lynx, I could not be happier. Leaperkim has pulled out all of the stops with this wheel. It has exceptional suspension. The materials used to craft this wheel are of high quality. Even though my new pedal clearance is over an inch higher than my last wheel, it still feels well-balanced.
The Lynx rides smoothly and goes fast. Getting it up to higher speeds than I am used to still feels safe and easy to control. I could not be more pleased with this wheel! This is currently the cutting edge of EUC design. Worth every penny!!!”
The Lynx is a definite upgrade to the S18! LK has been very successful with their lineup of wheels. The rave reviews don't do the machine justice, it's truly a marvel of engineering. We'll see how long they can maintain being the best seller of 2024.
