“My custom shutters arrived in great condition. They are well built, built to my specs exactly. Happy with the construction and overall quality of the shutters. The rating would be 5 stars except for one little issue. I ordered the shutters in October with an estimated shipping date of mid-November. Mid november came and no shipping, no update. Tried chat offered, but it disconnected and said leave an e-mail and they would get back to me. After a few days, no response, sent a contact me from the website, and finally another e-mail. No response for 2 weeks total, then 3 responses. New Shipping estimate was Dec 11-17th. Dec 17 passes, no update. Tried live Chat during business hours. Long wait for a response, then disconnected. Sent another e-mail. No answer. Dec 26th, notice from UPS that item is on the way from The shutter company. Shutters arrived Wednesday 12/27/23. Glad I got them. Exterior Solutions and the other business names it used make a fine product. What they don;t do is communicate. I did not mind the delay in and of itself, just that I had no communication from them about the delay. If they had sent an e-mail on 11/17 saying they were backlogged and would not be shipping until December, I would have given them 5 stars. I would order again, as the product is excellent, but be aware the communication skills are not up to par. Live chat doesn't respond well, and e-mail response is slow. So clean up the communication and my next review would be 5 stars.”
“I have an older home and needed the real wood shutters to replace an aged pair that was falling apart. While these took a while to get, longer than the estimated time when I ordered, the quality is great! I will get them primed and painted to match my house and they will blend in perfectly with the older wooden shutters already in place.”
