“The Real Deal Holyfield. I've ordered other items from this seller in the past and have always been satisfied. This SCOBY was no exception. It arrived super healthy and in great packaging. The kombucha was delicious and it created a new Scoby within a week. One thing to note is that this comes with 8 ounces of starter which is great because its the exact amount needed for a gallon batch. Its important to read the listings as most others will come with half that and tell you to add vinegar to make up for the insufficient starter tea they provide. So if you dont compensate by adding vinegar the pH wont be low enough and you end up growing mold. I say spend the extra few dollars and get the proper amount of starter tea needed to begin with.”
