“I had the first model, and due to circumstance it was not used for a few months and the straw was left folded within its case, causing the inner rubber to cinch and become inoperable. One suggestion is for your R&D dept to find & apply a material that can withstand being folded for a longer period of time (creating greater longevity & thus value).
I obviously enjoyed the product to repurchase. The retractable cleaning wand is a better feature than the cleaning rubber string, but it'd be nice to have a wand that extends to at least halfway up the straw, if not completely through. I don't feel as if i can properly scrub out the interior with the current length of the wand.
I'm sure there are issues with bulk/size if you were to extend the length of the wand, and I appreciate your efforts to keep your product compact, but the length of the cleaning wand coupled with a more flexible inner material has so far (2 months) been my only criticism.”
Hi Vievette,
We hear you! Some find it helpful to place their FinalStraw in a "V" formation, upside-down in a cup to dry. Thanks for your support to help reduce single use plastics!

“This review is a little overdue. I have had such a great experience with the people over at Final Straw. Not only is the straw itself such a useful purchase that has helped me avoid using disposable straws everywhere I go, but the customer service I have received has been nothing short of exceptional. I can’t recommend this company enough. If you’re looking for a great way to cut down on your straw use, Final Straw is the right way to do it.”
“the telescoping brush collapses while using. also, i’m not sure how durable the rubber lining will be, but time will tell. overall, very satisfied. thank you!”
