“On the one hand, I really like the straws, and I carry one in my car and another in my travel case. On the other hand, I bought a pair for my husband, who pointed out that it would be hard to really clean them on the go, say in a restaurant bathroom, because dirt or contaminants could get between the metal housing and the internal silicone sleeve at the junctures where the housing folds. I don't think this is that much of a concern, but he won't use them because of it.”
