“I'm in the cockpit of one of the finest US ground attack aircraft of the last three decades. I turn my head and pick up my target through the plexiglass of my near-inverted A-10's canopy - two soviet tanks skulking below. Rolling out, I look forward again and lean in to better study my weapons displays, the trackIR seamlessly transitioning my view throughout. Keeping my targets in view, even throughout maneuvering, gives me the advantage of naturally lining up the A-10 to let it do what it does best, and now the tanks lie off in the distance to my 10 o clock. A few clicks of the HOTAS controls and I'm looking at two white hot signatures, each providing a tasty lure for the maverick's IR targeting. Lean in close. Watch: A wobble of the crosshairs. Lock. Missiles launched. Time to get away. I watch vapour trails flow from my wingtips as throw the aircraft into a sharp bank to evade any alerted AA, the trackIR affording me a perfect 'dome' of situational awareness. Glowing tracer rounds carve past my tail. I swing my head left as I hear a THUNK from my left engine. We're good - the A-10 is tough. Catching a glance down at the targeting pod screen, I see my mavericks hit home, and rolling out, glimpse two black plumes of smoke over my shoulder. Mission accomplished, and just a little lost paint. A quick up-and-around check of the skies for enemy aircraft later, I turn to face the navigation screen and select my waypoints. Its time to head home to re-arm. The trackIR completely changes the sim environment and lets you play much more instictively. Though it can take time to set up, once configured you will never think of playing flight sims without it. Personally I use the cap-mounted vector clip, which can occasionally lose tracking, however you soon learn its boundaries. For the transformation it makes over using a mouse or joystick hat to change view, the trackIR is a hugely valuable, if expensive, addition to your load out,.”

“Bought this for elite and flight sim specifically after pondering for a free years. So glad I finally went for it. It's difficult to overstate just what a difference it makes our how natural and intuitive it is to use, especially with a large screen (40" TV here). Highly recommended.”

“Exceeds expectations. I am using this just for Elite Dangerous and it makes the game terrifically more immersive, I understand it can be used with many other games including many flight sims which I am sure it will have the same benefit. Highly recommended.”
