“I first became aware of Flooret through my daughter who had done extensive research to select new flooring for her home. I helped her install it and was impressed by its quality and heft. When it came time to replace the flooring in our kitchen and family room (approximately 500 square feet total) the only question was what color Flooret would blend the best with our existing cabinetry; our choice was Kingswood Base. We chose Base for two reasons. If we were younger and still had kids at home (my wife and I are over 75) we would have wanted the greater wear properties of the Signature line but with our present circumstances the Base line will far outlast us and probably the next owner of the home. The main reason for selecting the Base line was that the clearance between the top of our new dishwasher and the underside of the kitchen counter was exactly the same thickness as the Base planks (5mm). Going with the Signature line would mean ripping out and replacing countertops and cabinetry which was unacceptable. The ordering and delivery process was easy and trouble-free. The truck driver dollied the 900 pound pallet from the road right to my garage door! Packaging was impressive and there was no damage despite the pallet crossing the continent and being handled many times. Each individual cardboard box of planks was also well designed and included a page of installation instructions. Installation went far easier than I expected because the click-together joints work perfectly. There are many YouTube videos of professionals installing Flooret and I referred to several of them before starting to be sure I didn't make any "rookie" mistakes. Today I completed installing shoe moulding around the perimeter of the room and the completed kitchen floor looks beautiful. I am a very happy customer!”
