“I am loving my scooter. I did a bunch of research and really wanted some decently portable but also with front/rear shocks and good speed. I like how its discreet looking too so I dont have to worry about theft that much. Guys at fluid were awesome and i test drove a bunch of scooters. The bigger ones were cool but didnt seem practical. The horizon ticks every box and I am beyond happy with my purchase”
“This is an updated review after having pretty poor interactions with customer service following an issue with the scooter.
Note: the company's response to this is to say that the manual they sent me was enough. The thing is the manual didn't correspond to all the settings, so instead of immediately responding to my updated review, why don't you just respond to my issue? I'm not asking for much, and I've also adjusted my rating to be a little more fair.
Positive: scooter received as advertised however doesn't hit top speed for very long (about 5minutes into a ride). Otherwise, I'd say (although I've never owned another scooter) that it's above average for electric scooters.
Negative: the company is obviously super-stretched and unable to handle issues with the scooters. I had my scooter repaired (which was very much appreciated) and there were some weird issues with the display that I emailed about, several times and never got a fix for. I obviously am bothering them or they don't have the ability to support all customer requests.
Context: display was replaced, but now doesn't correspond to the manual whatsoever. So, if you're trying to calibrate it for your ride gear, cruise control, brake sensitivity etc good luck to you because they do not get back to you for further help.
Advice: if you buy a scooter from fluidfreeride DONT have any problems you can't solve yourself, because as said above they either send responses that have nothing to do with your question (1st line of customer service), stop answering support messages or they're super-overworked and understaffed.
Either way, wish them all the best just frustrated with their response.”
