“This Horizon scooter from Fluid Free Ride has been a fun scooter. It has a good mix of power speed portability and weight. Although it's not super fast, it's fast enough and fun while riding!! If anything is a con it would only be to have a little more power on hills, love the speed and portability.”
“I like speed so I would like a little more BUT that being said these things are awesome. And for 90% of people they are too fast. So if you've road the rentals these are about 10 mph faster. And way nicer. Way way nicer. Over all I love them and will be buying another one from them soon that's faster. Until then all my kids and friends have said how much fun and they are (but wouldn't want them any faster). My first ride went 16 miles and still plenty of juice and since have put 140 miles on it and haven't loved it one bit less then the day I got it. If your debating over any other brand go visit a dealer if you can but if you can't, trust me these are quality machines! Thanks Fluid!
Side note I did upgrade the battery and haply I did for it hasn't ever run out and I want that in my electronics. So if your headed for a short commute then I might not worry about it. Charge time about 4-5h with charger that comes with.”
“I ordered two Horizon scooters at the same time with the larger battery capacity. I rode about 7 miles on mine and it started making a weird noise and was sluggish. I reached out to customer service and they tried to help me problem solve possible solutions. It ended up having a bad motor. They sent me a shipping label to return the scooter. Then they sent me a new one. I am thankful that they replaced it! However the customer service was very slow. I constantly had to reach out to them to make sure things were moving forward to get this resolved. Some response took over 24hours. I personally feel that if you spend that much money on something and it is not right you should be very prompt in making it right.
I was frustrated with having to constantly reach out to the company and speaking with a different person each time. Maybe I am just impatience. But at $1,600+ a little over week is a long time to not have the product you paid for.
Once again they did make it right and I am very thankful for that. Time will tell on this replacement scooter. I just received it today and only have a few miles so far.
In the limited time I have on the scooter it is very fun to ride. I weigh 255 and it will get up 20 MPH. Couldn't tell you about battery life yet cause I haven't been able to ride it long enough.”
