fluid HORIZON V1 - 48V 10.4Ah - 23 miles Reviews

Scooter performs great, I'm about 140lbs and I'm sure its nothing for this scooter, my only cons on the scooter are practically for any user they will need to know it has to be a perfect road to go 25mph, most I get on the road is about 22-23 but that's still plenty blowing past anyone on bikes or other rides. I have not taken the scooter to the point where it dies but 6 miles in I had 2-3 bars of battery left. Maybe some work on the battery indicator if it can truly go 20 miles. I assume 20 miles is also in perfect road conditions with no hills. I expect 15 miles in gear 2 so its not being pushed to the max the whole ride, that will also have a affect on the battery life. But those are small things, I'm not riding 20 miles straight nor do I think anyone would, but it should be advertised that as a cars mpg is advertised like that.

Scooter has been great so far. I purchased this to get to work, it's a 3 minute scooter ride. Just as I expected, speed in the low 20's. Rear Suspension is great.

Im stoked on this scooter. I got it for my girlfriend as something to use for a 10 mile daily commute with lots of extra juice for longer rides and hills. Its a SOLID scooter that I enjoy riding. Im 175lbs and it flys past rental scooters and easy to get up to 20 mph. I got the 10amp version to save weight cause 40lbs is a bit heavy but my girlfriends been doing just fine. We got the trolly wheels which are alright. They're expensive for what they are and they're not a perfect fit but they do the job. Given that the scooter can be walked in its riding positing at the train station and going into work the weight is nbd although I'm happy I didn't get the WW pro. Even through I still want one for the power. Don't get me wrong this thing is plenty powerful. Brakes are good enough. They're not as good as other similar spec'd scooters that price in over $1000. But I've always ridden old second hand bikes as my commuter vehicle of choice and this thing stops just as quick if not quicker so in my opinion it's still safe. She's put over 100 miles on it since we got it and there have been no issues. I thought I wouldn't like the solid rear tire but it feels totally fine although I don't have any experience riding anything but rental scooters. I did do a good amount of research and there isn't really any scooters in the $700 range with this kind of speed, battery and weight. You could spend the extra $300 to get something a little faster and breaks a little faster with both tires air filled, but it's a few pounds heavier, which to me, if this is feeling heavy, I wouldn't want to add 5lbs. Plus I like the idea that fluid provides excellent customer service incase something was to need to be repaired. Overall this thing is FUN. If you've never ridden anything but rental scooters this is a huge step up and you don't need to spend $1000+. It's solid underfoot, suspension feels good. Handlebars are solid, accelerates well, breaks well, battery hasn't let me down yet. And for the battery- After her 10 mile commute the battery says like 75% left but when you take it for a ride at max speed it'll say 25% and when you stop it'll pop back to 75%. Not sure what's up with that since it would seem harder to gauge how much juice you have while riding but I haven't ridden it enough to develop that feel yet. Overall, if you are on the fence and have a similar commute and concerns about weight, this scooter is a really good option. Don't get overwhelmed, there are a lot of choices but fluid does a great job of curating a fine selection of scooters to meet the needs of different riders.
