“It's fast, fun and affordable. I take my horizon everywhere. Saving a lot on gasoline. Only downside is the long charging time. Added a 800 lumen headlight for night rides. A real head turner.”
“This scooter checks all the boxes! I was going to buy a Segway ES4 which would cost me $799. This one was only $779. This scooter is faster, has a bigger deck, longer range, and hold a higher weight capacity at 265lbs instead of 220lbs. The only down side is that there are no LED lights underneath and there is no mobile app. I think the pros defiantly outweigh the cons and at this price range you can go wrong!”
“The Horizon is perfect for me and my 10.6 mile commute. I literally make it to work faster than on the bus (30-31 minutes vs 40-45 minutes.) When I arrive I'm usually at about 47 volts remaining (from fully charged 54.6.) Since my employer is fine with my plugging the scooter in to recharge during the day I haven't had to test the battery for a return trip, although I think it just might make it.
The only caveat is that the bumps are pretty hard on roads that aren't maintained well. If you live in a town with poorly maintained roads (like I unfortunately do) then you might want to upgrade to a scooter with larger and dual air tires. This however takes nothing away from the Horizon's quality. I'm very satisfied with it. I can pretty much put the bus pass away for a (literally) rainy day.”
“Bought this as a commuter scooter back in October 2019. 610 miles and 9 months later I was riding about 6 miles out from my house with 75% battery indicator when my scooter suddenly flashed E-06 (low battery) and then abruptly died in June 2020. I'm very careful with my scooter and no impacts / crashes at all with this. After walking back home 6 miles thinking it was a fluke,I recharged overnight and then took it out the next day on a shorter trip to t test it out. A mile from my house the battery flashed E-06 again and suddenly died. After 7+ email exchanges with online customer support that asked me multiple times to use a voltmeter to check both battery and charger terminals for voltage readings, finally got customer service response indicating that I had a bad battery and would be able to order a replacement one in two weeks for $260. Needless to say I am not at all happy at the sheer number of customer service requests on top of the battery not even lasting a full year and then having to shell out 36% of the cost of buying a new one to replace it. Will post updated review depending on how customer service handles my issue.”
“Is perfect to commute to work here in nyc in the 5 boroughs!! My only concern was how long I waited to get delivered but besides that is amazing!! No more train commuting!!”
