2019 WideWheel Dual 500W motor - 13.2Ah battery Reviews

4.6 Rating 462 Reviews
The scooter is fast and fun when it works . It's not as advertised you don't want to hit small rocks on this thing you don't want to hit a pothole and you definitely don't want to try and hop off of a curb. I was plagued with problems from day one not just the shipping damage. A 2019 model rattles itself apart on top of that the motors seem to have a problem . I know I purchased an extra motor myself that was sent damaged make a long story short I ended up with three scooter Motors and I'm barely running scooter not happy at all with the product I received I will not be buying another one. I was actually going to buy a mantis but I believe I'm going to be going with the Apollo Scooters for my next purchase. Also I put about 50 miles on it and I don't believe it'll make it another 50. Fluidfreeride was prompt sending me replacement motors. That I actually and waiting to send back when I hear more from Postal Service

Look, there is no denying that the acceleration and speed of the WideWheel is awesome. But after using it for about 4 months, it is falling apart. -screw fell out of handle bar, handle bar metal snapped, needed to buy a new one $60. -every single plastic arm cover fell off $30/piece. -the speedometer never worked from the first time I turned it on. And wouldnt you know, a piece of that fell off too. -the handlebar is very wobbly. The stem is very wobbly. -the brake needs to be upgraded. Fortunately FFR sold this 50%. Fortunately I didnt have to pay someone to service it. -the computer is buggy: sometimes if I hit a bump, the mode will switch back to slow; needs to be restarted. -the system for changing modes is not intuitive, you have to learn secret codes involving pulling the brake, pushing the power button, and pushing the throttle. Luckily I have big hands, because my hand can barely execute the throttle and brake at the same time. -the rear tire guard is not large enough, so if you ride through water, it will spray all over you. You can purchase an extension for an additional cost. Or duct tape a piece of cardboard over it. -the nut holding the front tire's bolt just fell off while riding.. Thank goodness the wheel stayed on.

I really love my widewheel! It's a bit jumpy on the throttle, but it has great torque and goes up hills like they are nothing. At 25km/h I may not be able to keep up with my fiancé's scooter as she weighs 120lbs so it fly' s but it definitely gets the job done. I only wish more of the plastic parts were aluminum. The ignition could have a better build quality for sure. Be very careful taking sharp turns the, if you lean too far you'll literally be riding in a very small portion of the wheel and the scooter will send you flying. It's happened to me twice at high speed. Definitely user error. Respect the beast.

This was my very first scooter and I have to say I was impressed by the power and the looks. It rides great, turns smooth and has weigh power to get around. I lowered the rating for a few reasons. The single brake is not enough for this scooter which is why they added another one in the pro in guessing. The solid tires let you feel everything in the road and that makes you cringe when you see a bump in the road coming up. My last complaint is that stalk tends to loosen up when you've been on it for a bit. Not a big deal but mildly annoying. Overall I love the scooter but I've already ordered a Mantis to move up a level in the scooter game. Anyone want a WW?

I gave this to my husband for his 40th birthday and he was so surprised and excited to receive. He says it is a smooth and fast ride. Also steady and can hold a decent amount of lbs.
