“I absolutely LOVE my scooter. And the customer service has been "hands down" phenomenal. It took me a few days after I got my scooter in before I could unbox it and ride it. And I had already been sent some videos to watch to help me start out. Those and having read the reviews had really prepared me. I had a question about the charger getting warm that was answered quickly. BTW, I learned that if I plug the charger in a power strip that has surge protection, the charger cord did not even get warm after that....also, the first day i rode one of my rear plastic coverings came off, I really think it got messed up during the shipping and I just didn't notice it.....I just contacted the company and they sent me out a new one and I put in right on. I have a hard dirt and grass driveway before I get to the main road area, but this scooter powered right over that with no problem, also, I have a low grassy area in my yard that it goes over quite well. And all this is with the eco driving mode on. I don't think I even need to take it off that, it has plenty of power for my needs. My husband even has taken notice of it and I may have to get him one of his own in the future. I am soooo glad I purchased this kind. This is the 3rd kind I bought......the first kind I took back, the 2nd kind I kept, will gift it to my niece when she gets a little older......but this one is a perfect one for my needs.”
“It has great range and speed. I weigh 215lbs and that thing cruises. The only thing I can't seem to get to is the advance settings. Did it once but cannot go back to advance settings anymore no matter how many videos I have watched”
“I purchased a Widewheel last fall and use it to commute to the campus where I teach. I'm 60 years old and make my living with my brain, so I always were a helmet! But commuting on the Widewheel is a blast. I used to ride my gas scooter, but it mostly sits in the garage. I ride the Widewheel right in the side door and up the hallway (don't tell the custodian) into my office suite. My route takes me up a series of ramps to an overpass. Making 180 degree turns is something I'm still mastering, but the Widewheel has the power to take me up as fast as I want to go (and faster). Highly recommended. I haven't yet unlocked the "ludicrous" mode, and I wish the instructions were included, but maybe this way I'll leave less skin on the asphalt.”
“Compared to my other scooter (your standard Bird-type model), this thing is a beast that just eats up the road (and hills). I know I can ride it anywhere and it'll get me there. Definitely a good choice.”
“To say I'm impressed doesn't begin to express my views of the (dual motor) Wide Wheel 2019 updated model. It arrived within 5 days as promised. Came in excellent condition ( all parts, tools, and accessories were in prefect working condition). I have (2) small electric sit down scooters. Both 36v, (1) 250watt motor and (1) 350 watt motor. I live in Seattle and like San Francisco it is built on a HILL. There is No way to get around the hills and many are very steep. The hills eventually took their toll on the smaller motors and burned them out. Both were around $400.00 and both lasted about a year. From the first ride on my WideWheel I knew the extra $600.00 was well spent!!!! Due to stage 3 advanced Emphysema and COPD I only weigh 110 lbs on good day. This Machine has NO idea I'm even on it!!! Lol....The Seattle Hills that were once Obstacles are now actually FUN to go up ( these hills are so Steep I don't like going back down them).Too me, that's a good problem to have ..LOL. The motors aren't even slightly stressed with my weight. Honestly at my weight any more Power probably wouldn't be safe!!! I like Speed but I Love my Life more! You'd have to be my weight to understand what it feels like on the WideWheel (like a Jockey on a Horse). I can jump on the board and the suspension doesn't really even flex. The material and structure really seem SOLID and SAFE! At around 30 mph that's a comfort! At first my back leg would really start shaking I voluntarily from fear ( lol) at about 25 mph. That's hard to admit but true! But as I rode more and started feeling comfortable that WideWheel would n could hold up to Speed and brakes were True my leg quit shaking ( lol)!!! We're in the middle of a Health Chris of which we have never seen before as a WORLD. Can't go near anyone So my WideWheel is now my way to stay mobile and to feel connected with rest of world. Seattle is epicenter of Corona Virus..... Seattle is a very different city NOW. Please be safe and think about others, God bless all....as I write this review I realize how lucky I am! Thanks fluidride for making things a little better for me”
“I love my scooter. Makes going to work so much more enjoyable. I would write more on what a great company fluidfreeride is and how much I am enjoying my scooter however I work in healthcare and at the moment I'm exhausted, my feet hurt, the schedule is rough and I just want to go to bed.”
“I haven't actually gotten a chance to commute with this yet, as I'm WFH for the foreseeable future but I have been using this to get around town. After I unlocked the speed, this thing is quite zippy and fast in getting around, has a surprisingly smooth ride and acceleration, and in general has completely replaced how I move around in a 5 mile radius of where I live. Cannot wait to start using it on my daily commute now that I'm comfortable with it.
A few suggestions: get a brighter headlight and it seems like a larger rear fender to avoid getting filthy in the rain are a necessity. Also don't ride w/o a helmet, especially if you unlock the speed.”
