“Received my dual motor WideWheel earlier this month. It was delivered in great shape. There was a plastic fender that broke off during delivery. The company quickly sent me a new fender that snaps back onto the body easily. The scooter is quick, responsive and stable. The battery seems to last quite awhile on a single charge. I love the simplicity and the performance of this WideWheel.”
“We bought this for my son as a birthday gift. Looking at what he WAS spending for Lime scooter rentals, I figure this thing will pay for itself in a year and maybe even less.
The wide tires means that it's very easy to stabilize yourself. I loved taking it for a spin after we unboxed it. Shipping was quick, and while the unit is heavy, I had no problems carrying it. I had it delivered to the nearest FedEx location and picked it up there. It easily fit into the back of my car. It's well packaged, and there was ZERO damage when we took it out.
There are just a couple of things to connect or assemble, and then you are ready to go. It charges quickly and has plenty of power and speed. Comes with a key to turn the unit off and off, and that will help in case someone thinks they can walk off with it. Without the key, the wheels don't turn, so someone would literally have to carry it if you didn't lock it to something. My son is getting a lock to secure it at bike racks and such.
So far, I am quite impressed and would buy this again. Company was easy to work with, and we even got this on a sweet pre Christmas sale!”
“Speed seems to live up to promise (23 mph even in cold weather), but a lot of details are disappointing when I actually use it. The headlight design is irritating -- plenty of light, but it's fixed at an upright angle so does little to illuminate the road.
I like that I can't get flats, but the solid surface tires take a big comfort hit. Even with the added suspension, it's barely more comfortable on bumps than my Xiaomi was.
The controls are irritating, I don't miss the speedometer as much as I thought I might, but it's extremely difficult to change settings and I find myself constantly digging for info about how to change things.
Deck is pretty roomy, which I like. Handlebars fall just a little short for me (6'3). Wish they could be adjusted a bit taller.”
“I take the train to work and use to drive to park, however now I don't even drive take the wide wheel from work to the train. I have hills to climb and about 3 mile round trip. Plenty of power, speed and a comfortable ride. Thanks for such a great product....”
