The throttle on this scooter is insane!! It makes my commute super fun and fast! Definitely a thrill to ride this, goes fast uphills no problem

I chose the widewheel in hopes that being (5"11') 250lbs would give me the acceleration and comfort most lighter riders would get from smaller or equivalent scooters. I received my widewheel within a week of ordering it, communication was great through the whole process- thank you Peter and Adam! Out of the box everything came as advertised and nothing was loose upon arrival (checked everything) I purchased this scooter to commute too and from work (2 mile round trip) estimated distance being less than others didn't bother me, I'm sure I'll get a few days in between charges. The ride is nothing I've ever experienced out of a scooter. Even at 250lbs the acceleration is out of this world and it went 16 mph in standard and 25 mph in advanced mode. That was my concern when I ordered this and so far no speed or comfort sacrificed even at my weight. Weather hasn't been great so I look forward to more than a ten minute ride with it. Thanks again! hope this review will help the next person. Weight was the biggest issue I had when searching for a scooter. I will update once I've tested distance. Great buy and so happy with the product so far!!

Less than a month into receiving the scooter the brakes came loose and when we looked the screws were bent near broken even though there are no scratches and we never sat the scooter down or on it's side, only the kick stand to leave it upright. It's used very lightly since it's only taking me from the ferry to work less than a 3 miles a day. To brake I have to estimate a good distance or have to use my feet to brake completely, I don't go fast and wouldn't because of how dangerous it can be.

The brakes can be easily adjusted - we had already sent you a guide some time ago - please contact us if you still need help. With regards to the picture you sent, the cable inside the brake lever looks as it is supposed to. If there are bent or broken please also contact us.

Bought a Mantis and have never been happier with an e-scooter. This is my first "power scooter" and it's well built and so fun to ride. Definitely coming back when I need an upgrade.

I am absolutely in love with this scooter it's been a real joy to ride. My package even came early which is always a happy accident!! Two things you should consider when you this product are: 1 the headlight won't illuminate much of anything, if you ride at night often you will need to buy a separate headlight. 2 do not ride on a wet surface, not because it's not stable or will skid easily, but because you will get extremely dirty the back wheel kicks a lot of dirt and water on yourself.

Super fun, had a little trouble getting into top speed mode but otherwise love it. Wish it had a front brake as well. Havent checked the miles to empty, but will definitely climb steep grades w my 200lbs

A super solid build with awesome lines and power that you have to feel to believe. Really happy with my Widewheel dual motor. With the speed limit off you can easily cruise residential streets at speed without cars trying to pass you. You just have to remember to hold on because this is a race horse just waiting for the opportunity to run!

The Widewheel is an excellent scooter - plenty powerful to get me up the hills in SF, easy to ride, well-priced, and AWESOME battery life (I haven't gone below 4 bars of battery in my daily riding yet). I was looking at this vs. the Boosted Rev and while the Boosted has some excellent design cues (and is a touch more powerful), its battery life is dismal compared to the Widewheel and the extra power isn't worth it. Very happy rider!
