“Awesome experience with some warranty parts and advice from the FFR Team, 24 hour response, very willing to help. I commute about 3 total miles in Seattle on my Mercane WW. It's fast, predictable, and the brakes are easily adjustable for safety. I have little trouble with the Seattle hills and I am a big guy. Value for dollar is totally there, build quality is excellent, completely
feels like something made for adults. Highly recommended scooter for grownups, it's FAST and predictable. Communication and service from the FFR team has been excellent.”
“Hello, I got my scooter a few weeks ago, it's been a lot of fun riding it, has plenty of power for hills, stops good, still waiting to hear back on the re-call for the brake calipers, hopefully it will be okay”
“Super stylish, super fast , and very strong made , i have wrapped mine with the reflective film by 3M to be more visible at day and nighttime.
For sure could be improved with: Digital display, electric brake on front wheel, and a better motors manage by the electronic modules but actually is steel the best option on the market 2019 .”
“While many scooters look very similar, this is where the wide wheel version stands out. The first voyage I had to the convenience store had me already talking about the scooter to a person exiting the store. It is sleek and stable. Power is there, however I'd like it to have some speedometer, even it if there is an aftermarket one. I have used the eco and the sport modes and still yearn for more speed. Is there an easy way to remove the speed limiter? Hmmm... anyway, this scooter folds nicely and stores in the trunk or back floor in front of the seats.
It would also be nice to have a bag for storage/travel though.”
“Extremely pleased with the Widewheel scooter. It's very sturdy and well put together. The dual motors put down good power and the suspension is exceptional.”
“My coworker and I just purchased these after owning alternatives. There is NO comparison between the wide wheel and the others we had (Glion Dolly and Swagtron Swagger 5) there are now 6 scooters in our Fleet at work, ours are surely the envy of others;) We have pimped them out with accessories and I look forward to every chance I get to ride it”
“After extensive research, I kept returning to this scooter (Wide Wheel - Dual Motor). Both the Wide Wheel model and fluidride.com reviews are over the top. Independent reviews/videos can confirm it. The scooter is very well built and when you ride it, a big smile on your face will appear. Take your time and get a feel for the scooter, you must dominate the handling first, because it goes. That being said, wear a helmet because the Wide Wheel is not a toy. In my case, at 185lbs of body weight, I go for a 10-12 mile joy ride, and it seems like I have enough charge left to go on for another 20. You will not go wrong with fluidride.com. They will answer any questions you may have prior/post your purchase. These folks are in business for business...Good luck and be safe!”
“Buying a non-main bran scooter can be scary. You don't know what you will get and how the seller will support you. Fluidfreeride has been great. I have emailed them issues and get a reply within 24 hours.
Some pros
• Quick. No one has yet to pass me
• it folds up pretty small and fits under a desk
• looks good. I am always getting asked who makes that.
• breaking. It only has one disk break but after some adjusting it does stop.
cons
• acceleration can be jerky
• hard to read led battery status in sunlight
• no regenerative breaking
It does not have a speedometer, but I don't think that is a bad thing. It keeps your eyes on the road. Wish there was an app though, to track battery life.”
