2019 WideWheel Dual 500W motor - 13.2Ah battery Reviews

4.6 Rating 462 Reviews
The scooter is very practical for heavy commuters. Goes a long way, gets there fast, rides smooth even on bumpy roads, and goes up hills, which is a big reason why I bought it. I appreciate the no gimmick design, but the bell that came with it and the no display, hard to grasp adjustments to speed limit or cruise control could be improved. The bell was quite annoying to put on, and not worth attachment on this scooter.

Mostly as advertised. The 20mile range isn't possible on full power mode but that's to be expected. It's kind of annoying that it doesn't always remember settings, it seems to go back to the default mode on its own a lot. The key is a great feature, but why they added the voltage displays is mystifying to me. It doesn't really help anything. Would be much nicer to have it show speed in mph or something.

I've had the Wide Wheel for a couple of weeks now. Pros: Incredible Acceleration Solid Construction Easy to Use and Charge Plenty of Battery Life Top speed of about 25 mph in unrestricted mode Solid, wide wheels Cons: Slight play in the handle stem Would like more shock absorption Heavy (over 50lbs) I am happy with the purchase and would recommend for most uses. In hindsight, I might have went with a more expensive model with more capabilities. Still, a solidly built scooter that has proven to be incredibly enjoyable.

so far so good //the thing is great/ fast as i need it to be/ or as slow as i need it to be/ good throttle control// i put a bell velcro side view mirror on mine// which is as important as can be// you get the big picture of danger from behind/ which keeps your eyes foward towards rough roads ahead/// i am 61 yrs old and 160 lbs.. the range is great between charges/ only on my second charge// in my case the power dropped off at about 141 volts// i hit a small bump inthe road and the plastic bolt cover snapped off// luckily i was aware and didnt lose the piece// i glued it back in place with contact cement /so far holding// anyway the thing is great so far// i think the scooter would be even better if you coud connect a second battery when the first depletes to add another 5 miles in a pinch/ the end

I live very close to work and it's nice to be one something that feels sturdy and durable, with a smooth experience on my commute. Easy to fold down and pack away in my office. Even had a good quick response regarding a missing screw that I needed to attach the throttle. Excellent guide and easy communication.

If you've ridden a Lime then you know how cool an electric scooter can be, but also how underwhelming 14mph can be after a while. While this scooter is not short, light, or part of a ride share program - it's the leader of the scooter world. The battery charges quickly, folding is easy, the key on/off is awesome and the scooter pulls hard and stops on a dime. Have fun over taking bikes in the bike lane because this scooter moves! I'm 180lb commuting via metro north/NYC and this scooter has changed everything! (weather permitting)
