“I've used my new wide wheel to commute to work 2 days in a row - up and over some really serious hills. The power is so fantastic that I giggle out loud while zipping up those hills!
The throttle is a little touchy - it's hard to keep a steady pace. But the cruise control is wonderfully smooth.”

“Just recieved my dual motor Widewheel today. I pre ordered it June 6th. I was able to get 13.5 miles on the charge it came with.
1: Hills. I live in San Francisco so the first cvhallenge I did was to take it from Montgomery street all the way to the top of California sreet! If you think this hill is whimpy take a look https://www.pinterest.com/pin/510243832752524323. While I wasn't winning any speed trials, it went up much faster than walking. The fact that it has enough torque for this kind of hill should tell you all about it's power.
2: Acceleration. I don't use kick mode. At my weight (190) it certainly pulls but it doesn't feel scary at least for me. It's quick out the gate but reaches top speed (25 unlocked) fast. I took it to Pier 39 in heavy foot traffic and was able tro hold a walking speed. At no time did I feel I couldn't smoothly modulate my speed even with so many people around. Keep in mind this is the 2019 edition with the new throttle.
3: Brake. It is light-years above my old Ninebot Segway ES4. I can actually go down a very steep incline without feeling I will run into something if it appears out of nowhere. I couldn't even drive down a steep hill on the Ninebot because it couldn't stop at all. Brakinbg hard is also really smooth and you don't get that feeeling of falling forward like other front brake scooters. With that said, I wouldn't go down a very steep bank with speed because it's a rear brake only and without dual brakes, you might get into trouble.
Display: Clunky. I got into the mode I wanted but it's a chore and you have no way to see your mode or speed. I use a phone app that works fine.
Wheels: Have to say it feels a bit strange at first. The wheels are so wide that you don't feel like you do on other small tire scooters. It's not bad just take a bit getting use to it.
Overall: It feels well made and very stable/sturdy. It looks fantasic and got a couple of compliments already! Very satisfied!”
“Fluid freeride have just came up with the most amazing scooter. I can now fully review this baby in full.when my wide wheel arrived it was damaged in shipping and had to contact fluid in regard to this .Kyle at fluid sorted out the replacement part for me and had it shipped to the UK. It took seven days to reach the UK and could hardly sleep wondering if the scooter would be ok and also wondering if I could fit the part . This involves removing the battery cover and the back wheel to fit the part that had been damaged . So with the new part fitted it was time to take my new wide wheel for a test ride .all I can day is hold on cause this scooter can shift and this was it restricted . I got home after riding around for just under twenty miles and I had still battery left ..I then unlocked the speed and charged the scooter . Next day I took the scooter to my local beach and decided to open this baby up . Wow this scooter is truly amazing 25mph no problem hills no problem battery and range no problem. This thing is a dream machine and I can honestly say I fell I cant give it enough praise in this review or fluid freeride .my only thing I can tell you is buy one and also join the mercane wide wheel owners club

“I received my wide wheel on July 3rd after an early June preorder. Julian kept me updated on my order and was great to work with. The fun started shortly after unboxing this amazing scooter. I gave it a full charge which took approximately 3.5 hours before I rode it. I was amazed at how tanky and overbuilt this thing is! It's truly an amazing machine just looking at it, but then you get to go for a ride! It's fast and gets fast quick. I had to learn how to deal with the acceleration at first, but that took 10 minutes of riding.

“Yup, just as fun and fast as I thought it would be. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and there are certainly more expensive scooters out there. Your only problem might be availability. I just ordered a second one and there's a 4-6 week back order.”
please note that we were also unhappy with the performance of our logistics partner in Spain. We were trying to resolve the issue when you decided to short cut the process and pick it up. Sorry that you had to put in so much extra effort. in the future we will use a different service for Spain.
Regarding the suspension covers, these must have been damaged during transport. This is only cosmetic and you can already ride your scooter - we will ship these over to you asap...
