“Good scooter fast strong N long battery distance.I upgraded the throttle with key N led voltage..Just a little complicated is the settings.Only issue I had rear disc brake screws couple got loose and started making a clicking sound so I put blue loctite screw glue on all the disc brake screws problem solved.”
“I ordered the dual motor (2x 500W) unit and am very impressed. Look up the YTube video on how to unlock full speed w kick start. I had a broken plastic cover on one of the arms at time of unboxing, and FFR sent me a replacement immediately. They said some of their shippers are hard on the units. I have had great service and immediate feedback from the guys at FFR. I needed to adjust my rear disk brake after some hard long riding and they sent me video links immediately. A great ride and great service. Use caution in the wet. This is a really powerful scooter and you can lock the rear wheel up at high speed even on the dry pavement. I have taken to leaning way back as I brake hard to put max weight on the rear wheel and that seems to help the brake "bite" harder. The wide slick wheels are great for stability at high speed - but mean that braking is a bit more prone to skidding at high speed (25 mph). Also - you need to get a feel for "lean steering" like on a motor cycle. Again - wide wheels are more stable, but that also means you work harder to turn at speed. Leaning it over works like a charm for turning.”
“Awesome experience riding as I navigate the busy streets of New York. I have the dual 500W motor and, it's a bit on the heavy side when carried. However, when riding very little compares to the combination of comfort, distance, and speed. (Speed in ludicrous mode). Best bang for the buck. I love it.”
“The scooter is great but the customer service is even better. I ordered my scooter on a Friday morning, shipped same day and received it Monday. The ride feels very stable and the build quality is excellent. The wider wheels and suspension really help smooth out the riding experience which is far above lime, bird or jump rental scooters that I used to ride every day. It also feels a lot safer due to the grip of the wider wheels and the mechanical brake. I've seen complaints about the folding mechanism and controls being too simple but I think comes down to preference. The folding mechanism can be a bit of a hassle but is sturdy and does not seem like it will have problems with becoming loose and shaky over time like some other scooters do. The controls are simple and foolproof which I appreciate. I've had a lot of rental scooters shut down or randomly engage their electronic brakes during rides but that won't be a problem here. Definitely worth the investment.
Peter and Kyle from fluidfreeride helped me with my order and provided by far the best customer service I have ever experienced. They were quick to respond to all my questions and they really do care about customer satisfaction with their products.”
“I haven't been an easy customer, yet the fluidfreeride.com folks have been fantastic and patient. I ordered the single motor Mercane Widewheel online on a Friday, which was to ship Monday morning.
I'm under 130 lbs and was concerned the dual motor would have too much power to weight ratio (heavier people describe being nearly thrown off the dual motor on their first ride), but we have steep grades where I live.
I had a chance to ride a single motor (plenty powerful) later in the day after ordering mine, and had to stop before going up a hill with a 24% grade (a hill I frequently travel). The single motor couldn't make it from a dead stop, so I texted fluidfreeride.com at 6pm Pacific to see if they could change my order without delaying shipment - see, not an easy customer.
They replied fast, were friendly and willing to change the order without delaying shipment, and I really love that they took the time to advise. They politely asked my weight and cautioned that the dual motor was better suited for someone with more weight, except possibly on steep hills. After riding the single motor, which was fast, stable, and really fun, with plenty of power except on the 24% grade, I appreciated the advice and explained that a steep was the issue. They promptly changed my order.
The dual motor Widewheel arrived on the date promised in the original order. Thanks to their advice and a few reviews, I very cautiously pushed on the throttle on my first ride, leaning forward and hanging on tightly. The dual motor is definitely like a rocket for someone my size and I was glad for the warning or I'd probably have been thrown off, but it's a super stable ride. I've been riding for a few weeks now on my commute and adore it. I've adjusted to how fast it takes off and have never felt safer riding in a busy city, through rush hour, and even in rain. I can't help but smile while riding and highly recommend fluidfreeride.com for the purchase.”

“This thing is FAST. It has torque & acceleration right from the get go. Good rear disk brake as well. Not lightweight, but it's got a good sturdy feeling and that helps at higher speeds. Practise turns in an open area, the wide wheels make it more of a "body lean" wide turn than some smaller scooters.”
