“fast scooter. needs front brakes to stop faster. wanted to exchange for the pro version but was denied. ride is a bit jarring with the solid tires. you need to bend your knees when running on rough road. haven't done a range test yet, but my longest ride was 10 miles and came back with 48V leftover (batttery was fully charge 54.6V)”
“i recently bought the upgraded 2019 scooter dual motors ( new brakes, modified stem, voltage meter ). we named him Batman ( because of the large wheels) i have been riding it in the evenings here in texas and it's a hoot!. 25 miles on the odometer. I did my own range test today , with the battery full charged (54.6V) and was on POWER mode. i'm 221 lbs. i managed to get 15.12 miles using my Strava app. There were some uphil rides, maybe 5% grade. And i wasn't full throttle all the time ( Eg. accelerate, then coast, then accelerate again ) I am disappointed that it didn't give me the 20+ range. Ran out of juice half a mile from home, ( 40.1v ) Had to push ride the scooter and walked the rest back. So, my work is 11 miles from home, I will need to bring the charger with me to make it back.
If given a choice, I would buy the 2020 version with the dual brakes. The single brake is not adequate for emergency stops. when you are riding, make sure to look ahead and prepare to hit the brakes to slowdown earlier.”
“While it does go faster than my old Xiaomi the issue I have is that the pneumatic tires on the Wide Wheel are not equipped to handle NYC streets. You have to be really agile to avoid the bumpier streets so unless you have super smooth streets the Wide Wheel is NOT NY friendly.”
“The scooter is awesome. Fast but at high speeds it's kind of shaky. Handles hills without a problem. But make sure you read through all the specs before you purchase. I didn't so I was caught by surprise at how heavy it is. I contacted customer service and explained that I failed to read through everything and that I had only used it 4 times. I really thought they would help me but I was shot down.”
