“After fully charging the battery I got a 100 foot ride. Then the start button got stuck in the down position and left me with a $1100 fifty pound kick scooter. Requesting a replacement part was easy and the customer service team was friendly and responsive. But the fact that this happened makes me fear that the quality of the scooter may be lower than I expected. TBD”
Hi Jay - Sorry to hear your Widewheel was not perfect out of the box. We understand that you are unhappy with the purchase so far, but we are also certain that the Widewheel will convince you with its smooth ride and strong acceleration, once the defective part has been replaced.
“This is nothing like anything I've had the pleasure to ride truly amazing and fun very easy to use folds nicely rides fairly smooth for wide flat tires turning is a little different but once you have it down your good to go my brakes I had to calibrate myself they didnt work at all after first ride might have been a loose bolt but it works good now and left handle bar likes to keep coming loose but I'll put lock tight on those and itll hold but other than that it's been a great way to get to and from work red box fast food even let's me take it through drive through lol it's been alot of fun 5 stars for sure!!! And ummm a great way to stay in shape \../(^_^)\../ rock on”
“WideWheel is not typical grab-‚Äòn-go scooter. It's mass is significant, and I wouldn't want to climb a flight of stairs with it on a daily basis. Having said that, the trade off is with the significant power to climb almost any hill, silky suspension and planted tires that delivers confidence from the get-go. Power delivery Is uneven, which is why I docked it a star. Still, damn civilized.”
